The Art of Crafting "Pa amb Tomàquet” 🍅

A culinary masterpiece that encapsulates the essence of Mediterranean simplicity and flavor.

This Catalan iconic dish, which translates to "bread with tomato," is a celebration of fresh, quality ingredients harmonizing in perfect balance.

THE INGREDIENTS
- Bread (rustic and lightly toasted)
- Tomatoes. Not all tomatoes are suitable, look for “tomàquet de sucar”.
- Garlic
- Olive oil (AVOE)
- Salt

THE PROCESS
1. Toast the bread slices in a toaster, on a griddle, or in an oven with a grill, so they turn crispy on the outside while maintaining a juicy interior.

2. Cut the garlic cloves in half.
3. Cut the tomatoes 🍅 in half.

4. Rub the cut side of the garlic half onto the crispy bread slice.

5. Rub half of a tomato on each slice, ensuring the surface is perfectly covered with tomato.

6. Add a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of flaky salt.

7. Enjoy your aperitivo!
